Controversial Nigerian music star Portable continues to criticize his colleague Davido, alleging that Davido exploited him for publicity rather than supporting him financially.
Previously, Davido had hosted Portable to a dinner in Atlanta, US. However, Portable later accused Davido of giving him bad advice during their time in America. This led to Davido unfollowing Portable on Instagram, sparking further controversy.
In a recent online video, Portable claims that Davido used him solely to gain attention and should have featured him in collaboration instead of exploiting their association for clout. He expressed disappointment that despite being a “superstar,” Davido did not compensate him adequately, suggesting that he deserved $10,000 for the exposure.
The feud between the two musicians continues to attract attention on social media.
“Davido ripped me, you invited me out for a dinner, you posted me but you didn’t give me a verse, you didn’t give me money, you just used me to trend. $10,000 wouldn’t have been bad if you gave me that at least,” he said in part.
