Premier League giant, Arsenal are keen to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli but the Gunners think the Super Eagles striker real worth is 75 million euros as against the 120 million euros price tag placed on him by the former Italian champions.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is on the look out for a player that can produce about 20 goals per season and Osimhen fits the job description, according to the evaluation of the Spaniard.
Osimhen is also willing to play his next football in England after he reportedly rejected move to PSG and Saudi Arabia.
According to an Italian football expert and journalist, Valter de Maggio, Arsenal’s market evaluation of the player is way beyond what Napoli are demanding.
“Osimhen? From what we understand, despite the monstrous offer from the Arab league, Victor does not want to go to Saudi Arabia, and Arsenal in the Premier League don’t value him at 120 million euros but rather just over half at 75 million euros,” the journalist spoke at Radio Kiss Napoli, with quotes revealed by CalcioNapoli24.
It is unlikely that the Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, would to listen to such ‘paltry’ offers from Arsenal.
