A traditionalist has said that the solution to the present economic hardship in the country is for the people to go back to African traditional religion and appease the gods of the land.
The leader of IFA worshippers, World-wide, Oba Ifamulugba Tayese, the Alase-Osa, gave the advice on Saturday during the coronation ceremony of Iya-Oye and Apase Osa Agbaye in Badagry, Lagos.
Oba Ifamilugba Gbanga Tayese, Alaṣẹ Oṣa world wide, has said the solution to Nigeria challenges is to go back to African traditions and appease the gods of the land.
He disclosed this on Wednesday at the coronation ceremony of Iya Oge of Lagos and Apaṣẹ Oṣa Agbaye, in Badagry, Lagos State.
He said, the challenges Nigeria is facing the current is because the country has abandoned its traditions.
Tayese urged President Bola Tinubu to ensure to retrieve all the religious monuments lost to the Europeans.
The traditionalist urged Nigerians to go back to traditional religion, adding that the colonial master’s religion had not been help the people of the country.
He urged the National Assembly to pass a law that will make anyone who an elective office holders to take an oath of office with the symbol of traditional gods like Ogun, Sango and Sanpana.
According to him, this will discourage corruption among the politician and public office holders.
He said that swearing by symbol of others religion was making politicians and public office holders to go free after embezzling the country money.
