Prominent footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has set the record for the most liked comment ever on social media after he congratulated PSG player Kylian Mbappe on his move to Real Madrid.
Mbappe signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid on a free transfer, and he is expected to make €15 million (£12.8 million) annually, a decrease from the €25 million (£21.4 million) he was previously earning at PSG.
In his post, Mbappe expressed his excitement, stating that he was “happy and proud to join the club of my dreams,” and shared a series of old photos of himself wearing Real Madrid attire.
One of the images features the legendary Ronaldo, who was playing for Real Madrid at the time, posing with a young Mbappe. Ronaldo’s comment on this post received almost 5 million likes on Instagram, making it the most-liked comment ever.
