Businesses ran away from S’East as indigenes provide kidnappers, robbers with information on victims- Cubana Chief Priest

Popular socialite Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, has said it is difficult for people to invest in the SSoutheastbecause of insecurity
He lamented that indigenes are escalating the situation because they provide criminals with information to attack their victims.
The nightlife promoter said that the insecurity in the southeast made him move his business to Lagos.
He made this known during a recent interview with BBC Igbo.
“Why I came to Lagos to do business is that most of our siblings are scared to go home… cause if they come home, I will do my business.
“There is widespread hunger in the South-East. It is our own community members who provide criminals with information.
“Our people began targeting the wealthy, so the wealthy stopped returning home during festivities. That is why I moved to Lagos to conduct my business.”
