Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo has advised his fans to question their partners about the meaning and functions of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) to better understand who they are dating.
This comes in the wake of the NLC’s declaration of a nationwide strike over a new minimum wage and the recent hike in electricity tariffs for Band A customers.
The actor took to his Instagram page to urge his fans and followers to ask their partners about their thoughts on the NLC and TUC strike in Nigeria and the issue of minimum wage.
In his caption, he expressed hope that their partners understand the significance and roles of the NLC and TUC for the sake of their current or future children.
His words: “Ask your lover what he/she thinks about the ongoing NLC & TUC strike in Nigeria, & their thoughts on the demand for a new minimum wage & listen to WHAT you are dating.
“I really hope for the sake of your kids born & unborn, the LOYL knows the meaning & function of NLC & TUC, otherwise Adieu in addy. Do you agree with the NLC & TUC on their demands?”
