Onanuga, Ngelale fight over Tinubu's visits to National Assembly

Confusion has emerged within the presidency regarding President Bola Tinubu’s scheduled address to the National Assembly today.

Earlier, Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the President, announced that Tinubu would address a joint session of the National Assembly on Wednesday, as part of the 25th anniversary of Nigeria’s democratic journey.

This statement was echoed by a similar announcement from the National Assembly Clerk, Sani Magaji.

However, Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, refutes these claims, stating that the information was “false and unauthorized”

Ngelale asserts that the Office of the President was not involved in planning the event.
