Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State has commissioned the 21.6km Omoku-Egbema road.
The governor said that the road will open up Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni communities.
He said: “It has been quite a fulfilling day as we delivered another all important road to our people of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni with the commissioning of the 21.6km Omoku-Egbema road.
“In spite of the hitches earlier encountered, we are grateful to God that our administration has been able to deliver it to our people. It surely will enhance business activities and social integration of our people of ONELGA and also assist in improving the security network in that axis.
“The Commissioning is also significant as our father and leader, the former governor of the state, the foundation upon which the modern democratic leadership stands, Sir Dr Peter Odili, graciously joined us as the special guest of honour to commission the road.”
