Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State has flagged off the construction of Okania-Ogbogoro Road in the state.
The governor said the road when completed will alleviate the pressure on the Port Harcourt Ring Road.
He said: “The Okania-Ogbogoro road was officially flagged off today, marking a significant milestone in our infrastructural development.
“This crucial route is set to alleviate the pressure on the Port Harcourt Ring Road project, and will provide a much-needed alternative for commuters.
“We anticipate that this new road will not only enhance business opportunities for our people, but will also strengthen the security network in the area, contributing to an overall safer state.
“In our unwavering commitment of prioritizing the interest of the people, this initiative perfectly aligns with and actualizes our mantra of putting Rivers people first.”
