Gov Mbah to investors, Enugu is open for business

Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has invited investors to take advantage of the well-crafted policies of the government to expand their operations to the state.

Speaking during the tour of Sapphire Ceramics Company, Mbah said Enugu is the best destination for investment, business and tourism.

He said: “As we toured the Sapphire Ceramics Company in Obinofia Ndiuno, Enugu State, earlier today, I was deeply taken by the level of industry and productivity going on in the factory.

“Sapphire Ceramics Company manufactures 75,000 square meters of tiles everyday and boasts of about 800 staff strength.

“We are happy to be part of their success story, having provided them the platform to grow. We shall not relent, but will continue to ensure that well-crafted policies are put in place to expand their operations to a scale where they will be able to employ more people and lessen the burden on us as a government. “Therefore, I extend a warm invitation to both local and international investors to take advantage of this, and the abundance of mineral resources in our state and choose Enugu State as their best destination for investment, business, tourism and living. “More than ever before, Enugu State is open for business.”
