Governor Simi Fubara of Rivers State has commissioned the Emohua-Kalabari road.
In a post on his official X account, @SimFubaraKSC said the project was part of the administration’s one year anniversary.
He said: “It was indeed a great occurrence today as we commissioned the Emohua-Kalabari road.
“As part of our one year anniversary, it was a grand event amongst our people as they expressed joy for the completion of this all-important road that connects our brothers and sisters of Kalabari land to the heart of the city.
“The quality and features of the road will support easy movement and security for everyone that plies that route.
“We are of the firm belief that providing the people with the basic infrastructure that makes life easy for them is the fundamental reason for governance.
“As such, we will continue striving to improve on every aspect of the people’s needs because we derive fulfillment from knowing that the people are happy from our modest efforts.”
