Governor Simi Fubara of Rivers State has said that the Elele-Umudioga-Egbeda-Ikiri-Omoku dualisation road is the signature project of his administration.
In a post on his official X account, SimFubaraKSC said the project is significant in opening up various communities across three local government areas which include Ikwerre, Emohua and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni.
He said: “We embarked on one of the signature projects of my administration today. The flag-off of the 33.5km Elele-Umudioga-Egbeda-Ikiri-Omoku dualisation project is significant in opening up our various communities across three local government areas which include Ikwerre, Emohua and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni.
“While the project will promote the commercial activities of our people, even more importantly, it will significantly improve their well-being by reducing the man-hours spent in traffic on that route.
“We are dedicated to judiciously channeling the resources of the people through delivering quality projects like the Elele-Umudioga-Egbeda-Ikiri-Omoku road which is being executed through internally generated revenue.”
