Ahead of the 2027 general election the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Labour Party, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, have commenced strategic engagement.
In a post on his official X account, @atiku shared pictures of himself and @PeterObi with the caption, ‘It was my honour and privilege to host.’
The pictures have sparked reactions on social media with many Netizens asking the former Vice President to disclose the purpose of the meeting.
Many supporters of Atiku have been urging him to ally with Obi to challenge the All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2027.
