The Special Assistant to the President on ICT Development and Digital Innovation, has visited the police headquarters in Abuja.
The Force public relations officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said the visited centred on collaboration to combat misinformation.
He said: During a courtesy visit on 9th May, 2024, the Special Assistant to the President on ICT Development and Digital Innovation, along with the President, Practitioners of Content Creation, Skit Making and Influencers Guild of Nigeria (PCCSIGN), Amb Michael Nwabufor, and their delegation, met with the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) – ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, at his office in the Force Headquarters.
“Discussions centred around collaborations to leverage digital platforms for enhancing public engagement, combating misinformation, and promoting digital literacy initiatives nationwide.
“The meeting also emphasized fostering closer ties between the Police and digital content creators to address emerging challenges in the digital space.”
