Governor Simi Fubara of Rivers State has inspected ongoing road projects in the state.
The governor in a post on his official X account, @SimiFubaraKSC, said the 15.24-kilometre Emohua-Tema road will ease traveling time for the people from Kalabari and neighboring communities.
He said: “As part of the projects to be commissioned in celebration of our one year anniversary, we inspected the 15.24-kilometre Emohua-Tema road.
“The road is significant because it will ease traveling for our people from Kalabari and neighboring communities.
“The project will also assist in improving security on the road as against previous breaches along that route.
“This clearly demonstrates the essence of governance and our determination to positively touch the lives of the people.
“We also took out time to visit the State Assembly Quarters with the intention to assess the state of the place in order to see what we can do to make the quarters more conducive.”
