Madonna, the esteemed American singer, has set a new record for the largest standalone musical concert in her career.
At 65 years old, she accomplished this milestone during the final stop of her Celebration Tour in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Live Nation reported that a staggering 1.6 million people gathered on the iconic Copacabana beach, marking it as the largest standalone concert by an artist.
Remarkably, tickets for the event were offered free of charge. Madonna captivated the audience with a vibrant medley of her classic hits, such as ‘Nothing Really Matters,’ ‘Like a Prayer,’ and ‘Vogue,’ and even shared the stage with Brazilian sensation Anitta at one point.
