As fuel scarcity intensifies nationwide, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has warned of potential disruption to the supply of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, due to outstanding bridging claims totalling N200 billion.
According to a report by Channels TV, Mazi Oliver Okolo, the association’s Unit Chairman and spokesperson at Aba Depot, stated that the threat is supported by the national leadership.
Okolo asserted that the debt is owed by the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NMDPRA).
