Wizkid shades Don Jazzy after his artist, Ladipoe mocked him

Wizkid, the Grammy-winning Nigerian artist also known as Ayodeji Balogun, didn’t hold back in his response to music executive Don Jazzy after a shade was directed at him by Mavin signee Ladipoe.

Ladipoe, a rapper under Don Jazzy’s label, recently took a jab at Wizkid over his controversial “hip hop is dead” remark, stating,  “Nigerian rappers that survived ‘hip hop is dead’ watching Afrobeat artists go through their own,” via X.

A fan brought this shade to Wizkid’s attention on Monday morning, but the Starboy boss simply replied, “lol never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer. Next.”

He also retweeted two tweets hinting that he was referring to Don Jazzy as a social media influencer.
