Barring any unexpected changes, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) would on Monday release the first batch of results for candidates who have written the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, is expected to announce release of the results and probably reflect on other issues connected to the ongoing examinations at a press briefing scheduled to hold at the JAMB headquarters Monday afternoon.
JAMB had earlier explained that it chose to delay release of the results by some days to allow it carry out due diligence inorder to ensure the credibility and integrity of the results and to also get clarity on issues revolving around impersonation, mixed biometrics, and other forms of examination malpractices.
Over 1.9 million candidates are expected to participate in the 2024 UTME in over 700 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres across the country in the past one week The 2024 exercise which started on Friday 19th April, 2024, is expected to end Monday, 29th April, 2024.
