The ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo state has won the chairmanship seats in all the 33 local government councils in the local government election held on Saturday.
The results were announced on Sunday by the Chairman of Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC), Aare Isiaka Olagunju (SAN).
The major opposition party, All Progressives Party (APC) which had during the election alleged manipulations, has kicked against the results, even though the Governor of the state, Seyi Makinde, Commissioner of Police Adebola Hamzat and other security agencies in the state commended the conduct of the poll, describing it as free, fair, credible and violence-free.
