Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has described Bayern Munich as an exceptionally ‘offensive team’ in this season’s UEFA Champions League.
Arteta made these remarks ahead of Arsenal’s quarter-final first-leg encounter with Bayern Munich at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night. He emphasized the Bundesliga giants’ formidable collective mechanisms.
“It’s not only in the individual quality that they have, the collective mechanisms, they are a really offensive team,” Arteta told TNT Sports.
“You can see that, you look at the stats and what they generate, so it will put a question mark on us.”
He added, “We have worked obviously and we will try to deliver our best possible performance to avoid that happening because we know how important that is.”
