The National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, has expressed his gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his assistance in aiding the recovery of veteran actor, Zack Orji.
Orji has travelled to the United Kingdom for post-surgery assessment and Rollas thanked Tinubu for his fatherly intervention on the matter.
Rollas also commended Senator Oluremi Tinubu and Seyi Tinubu, the President’s son, for their support towards the veteran actor.
The statement also acknowledged the support of the Minister for Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy, and Ahmed Bala, Orji’s longtime friend, for their relentless efforts in ensuring his well-being.
Rollas further thanked Tinubu for his efforts to uplift the creative industry and his determination to make it more relevant and beneficial to both practitioners and the national economy.
The AGN president confirmed that Orji underwent two successful brain surgeries and refuted the rumours about the death of the Nollywood actor.
