Nigeria Warns Private Jet Owners Against Unauthorized Commercial Use

Nigeria’s Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has issued a stern warning to private jet owners holding permits for non-commercial flights (PNCF) against engaging in commercial flight operations.

According to the NCAA, holders of PNCF are strictly prohibited from using their aircraft for commercial purposes, such as carrying passengers, cargo, or mail for hire or reward.

In a statement released by the Director of Public Affairs & Consumer Protection, Michael Achimugu, the NCAA emphasized that any PNCF holder found conducting illegal commercial operations will face severe penalties, including suspension, withdrawal, or revocation of their permit.

The public is urged to refrain from engaging PNCF holders for commercial purposes, as it is considered unlawful. NCAA officials have been deployed to monitor activities at General Aviation Terminals and private wings of airports to ensure compliance.

The NCAA reaffirms its commitment to enforcing strict compliance with aviation regulations and warns that violations will be met with appropriate sanctions.
