Senator Abdul Ningi (PDP – Bauchi Central) has been suspended by the Senate over his claims that the National Assembly inflated the 2024 budget by a significant sum of N3tn.
The suspension was announced during the plenary session on Tuesday, March 12, presided over by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Senator Akpabio expressed concern that the Senate’s integrity has been severely compromised.
