The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, emphasized that there is no more opportune moment to offer prayers for Nigeria than during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
He expressed the need for divine intervention through prayers, as stated in a release by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi while extending congratulations to Muslims in Nigeria and worldwide for entering another Ramadan.
Abbas called upon not only Muslims but all Nigerians to fervently pray for the nation’s unity and for President Bola Tinubu’s administration to effectively address the numerous socio-economic and security challenges confronting the country.
He urged everyone to include in their prayers those individuals who have been abducted by various armed groups across the nation and are still in captivity.
He said, “May Almighty Allah (SWT) accept our prayers and supplications as an act of Ibadah, and grant us the grace to navigate through this turbulent time as a nation”.
