Toke Makinwa, the Nollywood actress and media personality, has shared her desire to become a mother. The 39-year-old, who is a divorcee, revealed this aspiration in a Sunday Instagram post as she celebrated Mother’s Day with her god-daughter.
Expressing her anticipation of motherhood, Toke Makinwa conveyed her confidence that the journey to becoming a mother is imminent.
She wrote, “I cannot wait to be a Mother, I know it’s in the cards for me and it’ll happen soon. Till then I’ll celebrate my first ever Mother’s Day as your god-mother.”
The actress, who separated from her estranged husband, Maje Ayida, in 2015 due to his involvement with his ex-girlfriend’s pregnancy, has openly discussed her personal life on various platforms.
In 2023, she mentioned on her podcast that she might not have left her marriage if she had a child with her ex-husband.
