Why I didn’t post my child on social media – Lord Lamba

Skit maker Lord Lamba has opened up about his decision to refrain from sharing pictures of his child on social media until his baby mama, reality star Queen, got engaged to another man.

In response to the Queen’s recent engagement, Lord Lamba officially introduced their daughter on his Instagram account. He explained that his initial reluctance to post pictures of his child was due to a desire to keep her face away from the public eye.

Lord Lamba clarified that if he had no intention of being involved in his daughter’s life, he wouldn’t have taken her on playdates or attended her birthday party, contrary to some assumptions. Despite their status as public figures, he expressed a commitment to safeguarding her privacy on social media since she is a minor.

He wrote, “First of all God knows I sincerely don’t want my child’s face on social media because I don’t want her to get trolled and yes I have the right to do that, I am her father.

“I see comments from people saying I don’t want to be in my kid’s life. If I didn’t want to claim my child publicly, I wouldn’t have been at her birthday party, I wouldn’t have taken her out for a play date, but anyway, my interest is my daughter and I will do anything to protect her. Myself and her mum are public figures, but she is only a minor.

“I have the right to decide to allow my child to grow and decide if she wants to be in social media or not. The fact that I have seen children trolled and called names on social media probably because their parents are public figures.

“Me spending time with my child in public (real life) makes more sense to me than social media. My child is not a clickbait or my craft … I LOVE YOU KAILEH.”
