Shettima to declare open expanded national MSMEs business clinics, inaugurates fashion hub, others in Ogun

The Vice President, Kashim Shettima will on Tuesday declare open the Expanded National Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Business Clinics in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

During his one-day visit to Ogun State, the event will take place at the June 12 Cultural Centre in Kuto, Abeokuta.

This initiative, a collaboration between the Federal Government and state governments, aims to address challenges impeding the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Its objectives include facilitating access to capital, formalizing businesses, and showcasing products.

The Expanded National MSMEs Business Clinic provides an avenue for small business owners to engage with regulatory bodies such as the National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), among others. Additionally, qualified MSMEs will receive grant presentations.

As part of the visit, the Vice President will inaugurate the Fashion Hub project at the Old OGTV auditorium, equipped with over 150 state-of-the-art tailoring tools for stakeholders in the fashion industry. The Adire shared facility at Asero, Abeokuta, will also be officially inaugurated.
