President Bola Tinubu emphasized that successful nation-building demands both perseverance and patriotism. He made these remarks during a press interaction after touring the National Museum of Qatar in Doha.
While on a two-day official visit to Qatar, the President explored the expansive structure situated in the center of Doha. The museum, constructed around Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim Al-Thani’s former palace, which served as the government’s headquarters for 25 years, not only gives voice to Qatar’s heritage but also commemorates its future.
“It is great to document culture from the beginning of history, the culture of civilization, collaborations, challenges and perseverance of leadership,” Tinubu said.
He conveyed his joy at having the chance to undergo a guided tour of the structure, expressing his satisfaction with being present.
In response to inquiries from reporters, Hannatu Musawa, the Minister of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy, disclosed intentions to initiate comparable projects in Nigeria to enhance the value of the country’s creative industry.
The President was guided through the edifice by Mohammed Saad Al Rumaihi, the CEO of Qatar Museums.
