Fx scarcity: Reno Omokri raises the alarm over threat to his life

A former social media aide to President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has raised the alarm over threat to life.

In post on his official X account, Reno Omokri, said he has received threats on social media over his campaign for consumption of made in Nigeria goods and services.

He said: “I have received threats, and they are sponsoring people to attack me on the media, and on the ground. But my campaign for Nigerians to buy made in Nigeria if they want the Naira to grow is not a personal fight.

“I am fighting for 200 million Nigerians. The masses at the grassroots whose purchasing power reduces when the Naira depreciates. There is only one solution: Make calls with ONLY Glo, Eat staples from Dangote and drive only Innoson.

“Research it. It was during our time in office that the government began using Innoson vehicles. My phone line was exclusively Glo. My friends, like Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, bought multiple Innoson vehicles.

“And President Jonathan served only grown in Nigeria rice and Dangote products at the Villa. You can hate me personally and still love Nigeria patriotically enough to buy Naija to grow the naira.”
