On Saturday morning, unidentified gunmen abducted at least two individuals, including Mr. Dayo Olayanju and the wife of Mr. Kehinde Obasola, in Otu town, Oyo State.
Otu is situated in the Itesiwaju Local Government Area within the Oke Ogun geopolitical zone of the state. While Mr. Obasola managed to escape with gunshot wounds, his wife was taken by the assailants.
The current location of the kidnapped victims remains undisclosed at the time of this report.
According to a community leader in the local government area, the incident unfolded in the early hours of Saturday.
The community leader who bagged not to be named said, “It is true. It happened around 2 am today.
“They were kidnapped in different areas. One was kidnapped along Okeho road.
“I have confirmed it. The two people kidnapped are Dayo Olayanju and wife of Kehinde Obasola. Kehinde Obasola escaped with gunshots but his wife was kidnapped.”
