As the Nigeria Super Eagles prepare for the decisive clash against AFCON 2023 host, Cote d’Ivoire in their second match in Group A, Osimhen’s focus is clear.
The 25-year-old netted the decisive equaliser as Nigeria avoided embarrassment against Equatorial Guinea following a 1-1 draw in their tournament opener.
Osimhen, who played a pivotal role in SSC Napoli’s historic Scudetto win last season with 26 goals, is set to make amends after Nigerians accused him of costing the Eagles in the first match despite scoring a goal.
Speaking ahead of the all-important clash, Osimhen took time off to share what it would mean for him to win the AFCON with Nigeria.
The striker admitted that winning AFCON is a lifelong dream, and he is determined to achieve it.
