The Supreme Court on Monday rejected the appeal put forth by the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate, Titus Uba, regarding the Benue governorship election.
Previously, both the governorship election petition tribunal and the court of appeal in Abuja had upheld Hyacinth Alia’s victory as the governor of Benue state. Dissatisfied with these rulings, Uba sought recourse from the highest court in the land.
