Kaizer Chiefs, the renowned South African team, is considering recruiting Stanley Nwabili, the goalkeeper from Chippa United.
Nwabili, a Nigerian goalkeeper, has impressed with his stellar performances in the South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) while playing for Chippa United this season.
At 27 years old, he has secured seven clean sheets in the PSL, trailing only behind Mamelodi Sundowns’ Rowen Williams in this regard.
Reports from thesouthernafrica.com suggest that Kaizer Chiefs might pursue Nwabili once the transfer window opens next month.
This former Enyimba goalkeeper earned a spot in Nigeria’s squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations announced on Friday. Despite being capped only once at the international level by Nigeria, Nwabili’s skills have not gone unnoticed.
