The Nigerian federal government has published a list of additional motor parks where individuals can receive a 50% discount on transportation fares during the festive season when they make a return trip.
The information was announced by Temitope Ajayi, the senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity on Friday, December 29, via the X social media platform (formerly known as Twitter).
Earlier, the government had pledged to subsidize the traveling expenses of individuals who wished to travel during the yuletide season.
The 50% transportation rebate was expanded on Monday, December 25, when 128 road transport passengers heading north were refunded 50% of their fares by one of the groups monitoring the implementation.
