NIS graduates 55 newly recruited personnel, promotes 52 senior officers

At the NIS Enugu State Command, Mrs. Azuka Halliday, Assistant Comptroller General, announced the graduation of 55 newly recruited officers and the promotion of 52 senior officers to various roles.

During the passing out parade and decoration ceremony at the Command, Halliday revealed that among the graduates, 27 were males, and 28 were females.

Encouraging the new recruits, Halliday emphasized the significance of their role in serving the nation with patriotism, discipline, determination, selflessness, and integrity as members of the service.

She urged them to recognize the privilege of their recruitment and to approach their duties with heightened commitment and proactiveness.

Highlighting the achievements of the promoted officers in their previous positions, Halliday expressed high expectations for their continued excellence in their new roles, emphasizing the considerable responsibilities placed on them.“This is the period to ensure that we manage our borders properly. We should ensure we do our best with transparency,” she said.
