‘I became Mogaji to make change’, Say's Kayode

Kayode Ogunsola, a Harvard-educated business expert, has assumed the role of Mogaji within the Ogunsola family residing in Itabigbo, Oranyan, Ibadan, aiming to instigate positive changes within the compound.

Expressing his motivations, Ogunsola emphasized that his new position wasn’t about personal gain but focused on uplifting the mindset and perspectives of his community.

Recognizing a lack of leadership within the family, he felt a calling to make a significant impact, aiming to address various challenges including poverty, hunger eradication, educational support, and access to clean water.

Following his installation by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun, Ogunsola spoke in Ibadan, highlighting the importance of contributing to the peace, advancement, and prosperity of his compound.

He stressed the Ogunsola family’s established legacy in Ibadan and expressed a commitment to preserving and enhancing it to set a notable standard for other compounds.

Ogunsola urged family members to join forces in supporting his initiatives, emphasizing the collective effort needed to transform the Ogunsola family into a respected and admired entity within their community.
