A man in Adamawa State, Yakubu Mamza, tragically took his own life by hanging.
Reports on Friday morning revealed that Mamza, a resident of Jimeta in Yola, was discovered suspended from a rope around his house in the early hours of Thursday.
He left behind three daughters.
This incident occurred just about two days after a young woman in Girei Local Government Area fatally consumed poison in response to the death of her boyfriend.
Sources close to Yakubu Mamza mentioned that he had been separated from his wife for approximately two years and had led a solitary life since then.
He resided in an unfinished building within the 80 Housing Estate community in Jimeta, Yola North LGA, where he hanged himself along the wall’s edge.
No official statement was available from the Police at the time of this report, but explicit photographs of the incident circulated.
