Transfer: Juventus line up Boniface as replacement for Vlahovic

Serie A powerhouse Juventus seems to have set their sights on Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface as a potential replacement for their forward, Dusan Vlahovic.

Despite efforts by the Bianconeri to negotiate a new contract with Vlahovic recently, discussions with his representatives have progressed sluggishly. It appears Vlahovic might not be inclined to agree to a reduced salary in a prospective long-term deal.

Juventus is contemplating the possibility of offloading the Serbian forward next summer and acquiring Boniface as a replacement.

According to reports from Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli holds a keen interest in Boniface and is eyeing a move for the striker. Boniface, aged 22, has notably netted 14 goals and contributed seven assists in 21 matches across various competitions for Bayer Leverkusen this season.

The player’s market value is estimated to be approximately €40 million as per Transfermarkt.
