Azeez Fashola, the head of Marlian Music widely known as Naira Marley, has alleged that actress Iyabo Ojo spread false and damaging information about him online.
In a letter addressed to the actress, Naira Marley’s lawyer, Olalekan Ojo, detailed the allegations stemming from a September 2023 Instagram post by Iyabo Ojo. The post reportedly accused Naira Marley of involvement in both spiritual and physical dealings with the late singer Mohbad, further alleging that Naira Marley caused mental harm to the deceased artist.
Naira Marley’s legal representative is seeking restitution of N500 million from Iyabo Ojo and demands a public apology to be posted on her social media page and published in a national newspaper.
The letter underscores that failure to comply with these conditions will result in legal action being taken against her.
