President Bola Tinubu has embarked on a journey from Abuja to Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State. His departure was from the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, earlier today at approximately 10:35 am.
This marks Tinubu’s inaugural visit to the North-Eastern region since assuming office. His itinerary includes attending the Nigerian Army Annual Conference as the Special Guest of Honour.
Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, the Director of Army Public Relations, has outlined the details of the opening ceremony. The agenda encompasses an address to the troops of Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI, an inspection of the ongoing Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Maiduguri, and the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone for Headquarters 7 Division.
The Special Guest of Honour, President Tinubu, will preside over these activities.
