Amad Diallo has struggled to make an impression at Manchester United since his €25m move from Atalanta in October 2020.
After a poor loan at Rangers in the second half of the 2021-22 season, he had an excellent season at Sunderland in the Championship in 2022-23.
Back with United for this campaign, he was injured in the summer and is closing on a return.
The Manchester Evening News reportsthat the club are now considering whether to loan the 21-year-old once again, or give him the chance to prove his worth.
