Liverpool are keen on signing Wolfsburg centre-back Maxence Lacroix, reports the Daily Mirror.
Lacroix, 23, is being considered as a potential replacement for the 32-year-old Joël Matip, who is about to enter the final six months of his deal and suffered an ACL injury in the 4-3 victory over Fulham on Sunday.
Lacroix is reported to be available for a fee of around €30 million and represents a much cheaper option than Crystal
Palace’s Marc Guehi, whose transfer is valued at around €70m.
