Chidi Mokeme, a popular Nollywood actor, has publicly professed his long-hidden emotions for his colleague, Chioma Akpotha.
The actor stated that they both made the decision to come out of the closet and asked their followers to respect their privacy.
Chidi Mokeme brazenly declared that he can’t help but love and cherish Chioma and that he has no explanation.
In a special announcement, the actor stated that all they want is the support of their followers.
Chidi revealed the duo worked on a newly released project, ‘No Way Through’ and pleaded with fans to watch it.
“Public announcement. @chiomakpotha and I have decided to come out of the closet.
“I have no explanations to make, but I just can’t help the way I love and adore her. We ask that you please respect our privacy at this time.

In a video he shared, Chidi Mokeme said: “Hello friends and family, I have an important announcement to bring to you. I don’t think I can keep it a secret anymore. A pregnancy cannot be kept hidden for so long. So for some time now, Chioma and I have had something going and we have kept it away from you guys until we are ready to bring it to you. We have found favour in each other’s eyes and as such we think that we have a lot in common and we have decided to share our time together and now we bring you the good news of a union that has been made from heaven. This good news of a calling by God, after all, can two work together except they agreed.”
