President Bola Tinubu has given his approval for the appointment of four new members to the National Council on Privatization (NCP), representing the private sector within the council.
According to Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, the newly appointed members are Oluwole Osin (South-West), Mohammed Mustapha Bintube (North-East), Olayiwola Yahaya (North-Central), and Akwa Effion Okon (South-South).
Tinubu charged these new council members with the responsibility of leveraging their extensive private sector expertise to ensure that Nigerians derive maximum value and benefit from investments made on their behalf.
Furthermore, Tinubu recently endorsed the appointment of the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Heineken Lokpobiri, as the Chairman of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB). Other appointees to the Board include Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe as the Executive Secretary, and members such as Oritsemyiwa Eyesan, Gbenga Komolafe, Bekearedebo Augusta Warrens, Nicolas Odinuwe, Raphael Samuel, Sadiq Abubakar, and Olorundare Sunday Thomas.
