Aman was caught stealing a woman’s handbag during a mass service at St Gregory Parish in Iyiowa Odekpe, Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Egbuaba Ifeaoma shared the incident on Facebook on Monday, December 4, 2023, warning people to be careful as robbers now target worshippers in churches.
According to Ifeaoma, the woman had left her handbag on her seat while she went to give offering during the early morning mass. When she returned, she discovered that her bag had been stolen. The church members went into action looking for the culprit and eventually found him hiding in a hidden place. The robber was caught and rough handled.
