Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique says he wants three attacking players who are as productive as forwardKylian Mbappé, but it just “isn’t possible.”
PSG top Ligue 1 with 34 goals but have faced criticism for being over-reliant on the 24-year-old, who has 14 goals, in the wake of Lionel Messi and Neymar’s summer exits.
“I would like to have three attackers like Mbappé that each score 17 goals but it isn’t possible,” Luis Enrique said. “Last year, there were three global stars and they shared the goals.
“There are lots of players that have scored. We don’t just depend on Kylian, well, we do depend on him but others have scored. If we took Kylian out, obviously we have no other player that has scored 17 goals, but maybe we would have five others that would have scored five each.”
