President Bola Tinubu is set to present the 2024 Appropriation Bill before a joint session of the Senate and House of Representatives at the National Assembly Complex by 11am today. Due to this, there has been an increased security presence at the complex.
More armed policemen have been stationed at the entrance gates of the National Assembly, namely the Main (MOPOL) Gate, the Villa Gate, and the Annex Gates.
Only individuals with valid accreditation are allowed into the complex. As a result, there is little to no human or vehicular traffic around the complex, which has created a solemn atmosphere.
