Abba Moro, a former Minister of Interior and four-time Senator, has been designated as the Senate Minority Leader. This announcement was conveyed during Tuesday’s plenary session by Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio.
Earlier deliberations among lawmakers in the Peoples Democratic Party had agreed to allocate the position to the North-Central region, aiming for fairness and equity in the decision-making process.
Notably, Moro hails from Benue State within the North Central region.
