Dr. Mrs. Fumilola Adefolalu, a lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry at the School of Life Sciences, Federal University of Technology, Minna, tragically lost her life at the hands of her housemaid. Her funeral is scheduled for Saturday.
The wake keep is set to take place on Friday at her residence in the Gbaiko area of Minna, followed by a solemn service at the Voice of Mercy Ministry in Nkangbe. The interment will then occur at the Christian Cemetery along David Mark road in Minna.
Adefolalu fell victim to her housemaid, Joy Afekafe, who brought two accomplices to forcefully evict her. Afekafe, now in police custody, confessed to assaulting and fatally stabbing Adefolalu, stealing her phone and laptop before leaving her for dead.
Concerned members, who visited her residence after noticing her absence from church, discovered her lifeless body in a pool of blood, surrounded by wounds and the weapons used in the attack.
